I wanted to apologize for my lack of updates lately. This past week has been quite difficult. I’ve been sick, and what I thought was a tummy ache and headache was the stomach flu.
Then my refridgerator broke down, and that was a pain in the ass to deal with. Afterwards, my dog started acting weird. It turns out there was a smoke detector in the basement that was running low on batteries, and the chirping was making her anxious.
Even after my landlord changed the batteries (don’t have access to the basement), my dog was still anxious and has been glued to my side, day and night. After taking her to the vet this afternoon, I’m reassured it’s just anxiety, and she’s getting back to herself.
(She had to go to the vet anyway, for a check up.)
